Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and begin your Bhutan adventure. Visit the magnificent Paro Rinpung Dzong, a historic fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley.
Continue to Taa Dzong, Bhutan's National Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of cultural artifacts, religious relics, and historical treasures.

Drive to Sharna Zampa and begin your trek following the Paro Chhu River through forests of pine, fir, and rhododendron.
Cross several small streams and beautiful forested sections before arriving at Thangthangkha, a picturesque campsite surrounded by cedar forests.

Overnight: Camp at Thangthangkha (3,610m)
Continue trekking up the Paro Chhu Valley, passing alpine meadows, yak pastures, and traditional villages including Soe, Takethang, and Dangochang.
As the valley opens, enjoy spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari and surrounding snow-capped peaks. Arrive at Jangothang Base Camp, widely regarded as one of the most scenic campsites in the Himalayas.

Overnight: Camp at Jangothang (4,040m)
Spend the day acclimatizing while exploring the spectacular surroundings of Jangothang.
Optional hikes offer magnificent views of Mount Jomolhari, Jichu Drake, glaciers, alpine lakes, and remote high-altitude villages. Wildlife enthusiasts may spot blue sheep grazing on nearby slopes.
Overnight: Camp at Jangothang
Today's trek is the most challenging and rewarding section of the journey.
Cross high mountain terrain and enjoy exceptional views of Jomolhari, Jichu Drake, Tserim Kang, and the beautiful Tshophu Lakes. Ascend to Bhonte La Pass (4,890m), the highest point of the trek, before descending into the scenic Soi Yaksa Valley.
Keep an eye out for blue sheep, marmots, and other Himalayan wildlife.
Trekking Time: 7–8 Hours
Overnight: Camp at Soi Yaksa (3,800m)
Ascend through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows toward Takhung La Pass (4,500m).
Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari, Jichu Drake, Tserim Kang, and distant Kangchenjunga on clear days. Descend gradually to the beautiful grazing meadows of Thombu Shong.
Trekking Time: 5–6 Hours
Overnight: Camp at Thombu Shong (4,180m)
Cross Thombu La Pass (4,380m) and enjoy one final panorama of the Himalayan peaks before beginning a long descent through alpine forests and wildflower-covered hillsides.
Arrive at Gunitsawa and continue to the roadhead where your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to Paro.
