Drive back to Paro and visit the historic Dungtse Lhakhang, a unique three-story temple built by the legendary Thangtong Gyalpo in the 15th century. Admire its remarkable murals depicting Buddhist teachings and cosmology.

Today is the highlight of your Bhutan journey. Hike to the world-famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), dramatically perched on a cliff 900 meters above Paro Valley. Learn about the sacred history of Guru Padmasambhava, who is believed to have flown to this site on the back of a tigress.

After descending from the monastery, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred temples dating back to the 7th century.
